Jackie Orr (7-9-12)
WINDER – Jackie A. Orr, 79, died Monday, July 9, 2012.
Born in Statesboro, she was the daughter of Hamp Arnett and Elizabeth Jane Carroll Nessmith. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Orr; and a son, Michael Edward Orr.
Survivors include sons, John William Orr, III (Johnny) and wife Tammy, Winder, Richard Arnett Orr (Arnie) and wife Glenda, Winder; daughter, Beverly and Lamar Manders, Winder; grandchildren, Brandy Manders and Skip Freeman, Misty and Chris Freeman, Haley and Quinn Bridges, Michelle Orr and Dylan Orr; great-grandchildren, Andrew Freeman and Lauren Freeman; and a sister, Inogene Hendrix, Wilmington Island, Savannah.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 11, at 11 a.m. at Smith Memory Chapel with the Rev. Ronald Hewett and Mrs. Susan Kiley officiating. Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 10, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
